To apply license in ABAP system save license file anywhere you want in your computer. In my case i have saved license file on desktop.
Now open SAP GUI and hit tcode slicense in the system where you want to apply license
Then click New License button.
It will open a new page where you can see Install button.
Click install button to install new license in your ABAP system.
It will open a popup window where you will be asked to browse the path where you have saved license. In my case I have kept license file in abap folder on desktop. Then click open.
Then another popup window will come which will show that license has been applied.
- Following error can arrive while applying license.
Here the error is that the system no in license file and the ABAP system don’t match.
So we must replace the existing system no in license file with the ABAP’s system.
In license file we will find two places where system no is present.
Change in both places.
After that follow the above process. That's it...!!! :)
